Mental Well-Being in School Award
Fri 26 Mar 2021We were very proud yesterday to receive our certificate for completing the Mental Well-Being in School award.
The mental well-being of all our CHPS family members is something we take very seriously and something we continue to focus on daily.

Y3 Fantastic Art
Mon 15 Mar 2021Year 3 were very busy last week and even wrote their own song!
They also recycled pencils to make art, learnt about deforestation and made a forest out of mod roc and tissue paper. They recycled magazines and thought about animals effected by climate change and then they went on a protest around the school with signs to save the world!
Great work Year 3!

Y5 Creations for Arts Week
Fri 12 Mar 2021Year 5 have been using pastels, painting, using paste resist technique and making mod roc masks all based on the Ancient Mayan Civilisation.
The pencil and statue work is based on the work of the artist, Henry Moore.

Y2 African Masks for Arts Week
Thu 11 Mar 2021Year 2 have been very creative this week.
They have planned and made their own African masks.
Also, they have looked at contemporary paintings from the Ndebele nation by Esther Mahlangu, using shapes to make their own designs.
