Home Learning Expectations
In Dormouse Class we expect the children to:
- Read 5 times per week. This needs to be recorded in their reading record.
- Spend 20 minutes over the week on Numbots (separate log in details)
- Review phonic sounds learnt that week.

The tricky words we have learnt this term are above. They are tricky because the letters are not making the sounds we expect them to at this stage in our phonics journey.
For example,
the
We expect it to be "th" and "e" but in the case of "the" the "e" is making an "u" sound.
I appreciate this is challenging to understand! Some of them are also accent dependent to make it more fund:)

Please practise these as much as possible.
