Class Information

Adults in Fox class

Fox class have Miss Bennett teaching them all day Monday, Wednesday and Friday and Tuesday AM and Thursday PM.

Miss Rogers and our sport coaches teach Fox class on a Tuesday afternoon during Miss Bennett's planning time. 

Mrs Chapman will teach Fox class on a Thursday morning during Miss Bennett's maths leadership time.

Miss Maciver, Miss Lewis, Mrs Singhal and Miss Temple also support Fox class throughout the week.

PE days 

Fox Class need to wear their PE kit to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Reading books

Fox class will have two books sent home weekly; one to support fluency and understanding and one book for pleasure chosen by the children from our library. Fluency reading books needs to be brought in every day so that the children can read their book and develop their fluency every afternoon during quiet reading time.

Times tables

Next July, Fox class children will be expected to complete the Statutory Multiplication Check, where they must answer 25 questions in a set amount of time. In order to improve their multiplication skills to develop their maths skills and prepare them for the check, Fox children need to be practicing their times tables at home as much as possible.
