Wow, what a week!
We ended the week with sports day out in the sun today. It was lovely to see everyone working as a team and cheering each other on.
We were extremely proud of our writing today as well. We focused on our handwriting and published our character descriptions. They will be in display in our area soon!
Next week is ART WEEK! That means the only subjects we will be doing are art, music, dance and drama :) Exciting times ahead!

This week we started learning our dance for our performance after half term. We are very excited to be sharing it with our adults from home!
As part of our unit, we learnt all about hieroglyphics and spelt our names using the symbols.
We were inspired by the King's coronation and our writing has been based on King Charles and our long bank holiday weekends.

Have a look at our biomes in a box! We have been working hard on adding detail and working well with our partner. We have used modrock to add a 3D effect, painted and used a variety of materials to bring our boxes to life!

We have all loved starting our new unit this term: Journey Down The Nile!

We began reading our exciting, new book called 'Marcy and the Riddle of the Sphinx' which has had us all on the edge of our seats! We began learning about the hierarchy of Ancient Egypt and where Egypt is in the world. We thought about what job we would have had if we were alive all those many years ago!
